November 2012.

I made 2 more Ecobeds this month.

The smaller one is designed to grow strawberries, but until I get some new runners from my patch later in the year, I will grow a few lettuce and brassicas in it.

The larger one, which is fitted with a taller pest exclusion frame is designed to grow tomatoes and climbing beans
.
The next few months are going to be interesting as the plants mature and start drawing down more heavily on nutrients.  Will the worms keep up with demand I wonder?

If all goes well, I will start replacing conventional beds with much larger ecobeds later in the year.
We had our hottest November day ever this week (39deg C).  The plants in ecobeds and ecobins sailed through the heat.
