| Harvesting climbing beans (Epicure). Because the weather has been quite warm recently and the legume bed is so laden with green growth, the bed's water tank needs refilling every 5 days. |

| This batch was top and tailed and the longer ones cut into 3 pieces. They were blanched in boiling water for 2 minutes, cooled quickly in cold water and dried. They were then put into zip lock bags and packed in the freezer. I will have to bottle the next batch in brine as we are getting short of space in the freezer. |
