| Its a beautiful cool spring day in Melbourne, but 2 days ago (6th October) it was an all time record of 35 deg.C for that day and very windy. My veggies were knocked around a bit, but they are OK now. I have just harvested a great crop of garlic and they are hung up drying in my small shed. |

| My potatoes are all up and looking healthy. They are growing fast and I hope to get a better than usual crop this year. Its the first time I've tried growing them in an Ecobed. |
