My broad beans are fit and healthy although battered by several bouts of wild weather in recent weeks.  I was able to fit some heavy duty shadecloth to the sides of the support frames to keep the worst effects of the wind off, but a few of them still got bent.

This is the second year I have used aerated compost tea on the broad beans, and again they are free of a long term pest in my suburb - broad bean rust.
