Its mid October and the weather is warming up.  The Ecobeds are consuming much more water now because the plants are getting bigger, but it still takes about 3 weeks to empty an Ecobed's water tank.

It takes 10 to 15 minutes to fill a large Ecobed's water tank from empty, so I hook the hose up on the frame (as shown), wrap the net around it so opportunistic insects can't get in, and sit down with a nice cup of coffee while the tank fills.

The plastic tray catches overflow water so I don't have to rush to turn off the water supply.  Its dead easy.
