| Mild wet weather is helping everything recover from the intense heat last week. The beans are at their maximum height and starting to put more energy into bean production. |

| The brassicas in Ecobed 3 have been harvested and the bed cleared of old mulch and plant debris. New home made compost will be ready at the end of next week to prepare the bed and I have lettuce and cabbage seedlings ready for planting. I hope to harvest them by the end of March because I need to plant a green manure in the bed in April. |

| My 2000 litre tank is half full, and needs a refill before the end of summer. The light rain we had over the last few days was welcome, but I need one good solid downpour to top up all my tanks. |
